John Pirc, VP, Head of Product Management, Netenrich: What you get with Netenrich is a lot of first-source intelligence that our team works on. Our team is relentlessly looking at the attack surface, external, around the world, and what's happening. What they're able to do is take all that information and curate threat intelligence that we're able to put in the product that customers get. I've worked at countless security companies. All good. I put my NSS Labs hat on when I was their CTO because we tested all the world's security products. There is a common denominator, right?
Because getting someone like John Bambenek, John Laycock, and the rest of his team is very difficult, right? What do you have to do? You have to augment. You have to purchase threat feeds. That becomes pretty expensive. So, the fact that we have the ability to do that and deliver that is huge. In addition to that, providing our customers, if they subscribe to services, we can provide weekly reports. If they see something odd, our team could look at it. So, having a threat intelligence team is crucial, right? You can have all the best ML, the best correlations and behaviors, and the stuff that we're talking about. It's a very important component.
It'd be like me going out buying a McLaren 720 and not being able to put gas in it. It looks really cool, the doors go up - but that's kind of how I see that. And it's been exciting working with John and his team.
