We're seeking an experienced Product Marketing Manager (or Senior Product Marketing Manager, depending on experience) to help drive product marketing initiatives for Adaptive MDR. This is a hands-on, execution-focused role where you’ll support various marketing functions across content creation, partner marketing, and campaign execution. Based in San Jose, CA. this position involves working closely with globally distributed teams and strategic technology partners to bring go-to-market programs to life.
Key Responsibilities
- Messaging and Positioning: Shape the messaging and positioning of products and solutions, ensuring alignment with customer needs and market trends.
- Core Product Marketing: Conduct market research to understand customer pain points, competitive landscape, and market opportunities. Use these insights to develop messaging and inform marketing strategies that differentiate our products.
- Content Development: Develop compelling content across formats such as collaterals, partner websites, newsletters, webinars, marketing campaigns, and other digital assets to drive engagement and maintain brand consistency.
- Campaign Management: Based on target customer data, plan, build, and execute marketing campaigns and events, including webinars, roundtables, and digital initiatives. Allocate budgets, select the tactical mix, and define goals and measurement criteria for all campaigns.
- Partner Marketing: Collaborate with strategic technology partners to identify and scale joint go-to-market solutions and programs. Support partner campaigns to ensure internal and external alignment.
- Marketing Program Execution: Manage and execute multiple marketing programs that require strategic thinking and rapid tactical execution.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal teams (sales, marketing, enablement) to ensure alignment in messaging, positioning, and campaign efforts.
Your Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Engineering, or related field; MBA strongly preferred.
- 4+ years of product marketing experience, with at least 2 years in the cybersecurity industry. A blend of product marketing, partner marketing, and campaign support is highly desirable.
- Deep understanding of MDR solutions, related technologies (SIEM, SOAR, security operations), and other adjacent cybersecurity technologies.
- Proven track record in developing and executing successful marketing strategies for complex technical solutions, preferably involving advanced technologies (Data Lake, AI/ML, Big Data, SaaS, and Cloud).
- Experience working with technology partners and managing joint go-to-market programs.
- Exceptional storytelling abilities and strong public speaking skills, with experience presenting to diverse audiences.
- Proven ability to develop content for various marketing channels and formats.
- Creative and innovative thinker willing to take risks, iterate, and learn.
- Strong project management skills: highly organized, results-driven, and detail-focused.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry.
- Experience working in a global company with distributed teams is a plus.
Benefits
Salary commensurate with experience. We offer a range of great benefits to our employees: medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability and life insurance benefits. The company provides 15 PTO days and 10 paid company holidays per year.
Compensation varies based on a variety of factors which include (but aren’t limited to) such as role level, skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, geography, and experience. In addition to base pay, certain roles are eligible to participate in our bonus or commission plans, as well as our benefits offerings, and equity awards.
The expected annual base salary range for this role is $110,000 - $150,000.
