I want to use this post to say something I do not say publicly often enough.
Every customer who has chosen Netenrich has made a specific kind of decision that I understand intimately and am genuinely grateful for. They chose a bootstrapped company without Gartner Magic Quadrant placement, without a logo recognizable to every procurement committee, without the marketing budget to be everywhere in their information environment. They looked at what we built, evaluated it against better-capitalized and more recognizable alternatives, and decided that what we built was better for them.
I know what that decision costs. I have been on both sides of it.
When the Velio story ended - when I resigned in 2003 rather than betray the commitments I had made to Lucent and Tellabs and Ciena and Fujitsu and the others who had bet on us - I understood from that moment forward exactly what it means for a customer to trust a smaller company. They are not just buying a product. They are extending confidence in the people behind it, in the conviction behind the thesis, in the integrity of the commitment to deliver. That trust is the single most valuable currency when building long-term cybersecurity partners.
The customers who came with us from Netenrich 1.0 - who had been on the digital operations journey and chose to come with us into the security rebuild - are the people who shaped what the Resolution Intelligence Cloud has become. Their environments were our testing ground. Their feedback - direct, honest, sometimes hard to hear - was what refined the taxonomy, validated the ontology engine, calibrated the behavioral models, and developed the LIC scoring framework. They were not waiting for us to deliver a finished product. They were building it with us as true cybersecurity partners.
Our early security customers, who came to us before the platform was fully formed, who gave us the production experience that no development environment can replicate - they showed us what the system needed to do that we had not yet anticipated.
The knowledge graph that now accumulates intelligence across 200-plus customer environments - growing smarter every hour, building domain memory that no single enterprise could build alone - exists because those customers came first, stayed through the development, and contributed their operational experience to something larger than any individual engagement.
This is what differentiates effective cybersecurity partners: turning enterprise telemetry into a force multiplier for the entire customer community.
This work is for them. The accountability I feel to them is the most important accountability I carry. And the trust they have extended is the foundation on which everything else is built.
Thank you.
