A Letter to Those Choosing a Trusted Security Vendor

Written by Raju Chekuri | Tue, Oct 20, 2026 @ 03:51 AM

I want to write this post differently from the others in this series - not as analysis, not as a technical argument, but as a direct letter to the people who have made this journey possible.

To every CISO, security director, and security leader who evaluated the market and chose Netenrich as your security vendor

You made a decision that I understand better than most people. You chose a company without the Gartner coverage that makes procurement conversations easier. Without the logo recognition that provides political cover when something goes wrong. Without the massive sales force and the partner ecosystem and the analyst relations budget that make larger companies feel safe to buy from.

You looked at what we built - at the data foundation, the ontology engine, the behavioral analytics, the knowledge graph, the LIC scoring framework - and you decided it was better for your organization than what the better-recognized alternatives offered. You made a bet on the quality of the work and the integrity of the people behind it.

I have been on both sides of that kind of trust. At Velio, customers trusted us enough to build their product roadmaps around our technology. When the business circumstances forced us toward a sale that would have compromised their competitive position, I resigned rather than betray them. I know what it costs to extend that kind of trust. I know what it means when it is honored and when it is not.

At Netenrich, you are not just customers. You have been co-creators of what the Resolution Intelligence Cloud™ has become. Your environments were the testing ground. The edge cases your telemetry produced refined the normalization logic. The investigation workflows your analysts developed shaped our agent designs. The metrics you told us were useful versus confusing built the LIC framework into what it is. The feedback you gave us — sometimes hard to hear, always honest - made the product better in ways we would not have reached without you.

The knowledge graph that now accumulates intelligence across 200-plus enterprise environments - the domain memory that gives every customer the benefit of what every other customer's environment has taught us - exists because you came first and trusted us to build it correctly.

I carry your trust as the most important accountability I have in this company. More important than the P&L, more important than the growth metrics, more important than any recognition we might eventually receive.

Thank you for betting on us. I am committed to earning that bet every day.
